Love Thy (Undocumented) Neighbor: Sanctuary, Dialogue, and Justice in the Immigrant Rights Movement Today Dr. Laura Emiko Soltis
This sermon draws from Matthew 25:35, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me” and Paolo Freire’s pedagogical philosophy of the oppressed. It explores what love requires of us in building sanctuary, engaging in dialogue, and advancing justice with our undocumented neighbors.
This Sunday is Share the Basket Sunday where one-half of a Sunday morning’s collection is given to an organization that aligns with our UU values. This month's recipient will be collected for Freedom University.
2nd hour activities, (11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)
- Sermon Reflections facilitated by Dr. Laura Emiko Soltis in the sanctuary followed by the Immigration Task Force meeting at 12:15 p.m.

The UU Association has new research on the best practices in welcoming young adults and young families to UU Congregations.
